A Homemade Home

There aren’t many things I like more than Clotted cream tea’s, so photographing them has got to be one of the best jobs going (especially when you get to eat them after!). Cream teas always remind me of being a kid and going on holiday to Devon or Cornwall, I’d eat as much as possible until I felt sick and then probably eat some more!
Here’s a recipe for the perfect scones to go with all that clotted cream, enjoy!
 
Ingredients – to make around 8 scones
225g/8oz self-raising flour
60g/2oz butter or margarine
25g/1oz caster sugar
150ml/5floz milk
A pinch of salt
1 free-range egg, beaten

1. Heat the oven to 220C/425F/Gas 7. And line a baking tray with grease proof paper.
